Come on folks. We’ve had just a little over $600 bucks in donations. We want to put some bucks together for the vets in Sheridan. Right now we’re behind the power curce. Help us out.
I think they turned left in Scotland and then fell off the radar. lol.
We do know that they made it to Wal-Mart in Taber. We’ve had some wonderful folks writing in letting us know “I saw them here…”
Right now, we are having technical difficulties, please do not adjust your set. We’re having problems with phone service. Sheila is trying to get a Canadian phone that has decent service and judging by the lack of calls, she’s not having much luck.
But we do know they were at Wal-Mart and thinking about a campground. So they are alive and kicking, Sheila hasn’t shot him yet.
The are currently camped just South of Taber Alberta, 62 miles North of Sweet Grass Montana.
Today, they decided to give the horses a break because it’s raining so hard, visibility is poor.
They expect to get a phone up there and then communications will be a lot better. As of right now, when Sheila calls me to update, it’s $2.00 a minute, we we talk fast. lol
I’ll update as soon as I get any info.

My mapping program only allows so many way points. As such, I had to start a new map at the Canadian border. So on the Thanks page, there will be two maps.
From Ranchester to Sweet Grass Montana was 528 miles.
Mike and Sheila are in Sweet Grass. They actually got there yesterday but I was waiting to hear if they crossed the border. No they have not.
In order to cross the border, a Canadian Vet has to check the documents and the horses. He was not available on Sunday and today is a Canadian Holiday so he wasn’t available today either. They could have brought one in but Mike and Sheila would have had to pay for it.
So tomorrow they’re going to cross. As it stands, their phone is roaming so is very costly to make calls. When they get into Canada they’re going to check on a phone there. So it may be a day or two before I get an update from them.
They finally stopped last night at approximately Ohio Camp Montana but were unable to send because of no signal. They are only 15 miles from Sweet Grass and the Canadian border. Currently, they are unsure if they are going to cross today, or camp and wait until morning.
Here’s what I got this morning.
