6-18-10 Left of Nowhere.
Sheila called and gave me an update. They are North of Rocky Mountain House in the middle of nowhere. But she wanted to tell me that a semi driver stopped and said he’ll buy breakfast. Then he gave them a box of cereal and a carton of milk.
Another guy by the name of Jerry chased them down. Seems he’s a driver our of Sundre and he’s passed them several times. This time he stopped and gave them 2 bags of apple treats, a big bag of oats and as Sheila said, “The biggest bottle of Crown Royal she’s ever seen.”
All’s well, they’re clopping along North.

from what I hear, it,s “kuddos” to all the canadians that have helped them along the way, and to those whom they still have to meet along the way. I wil vouch for them being good people, but I may be prejudiced, as I am Mike’s sister. Many thanks to those who keep us informed on thier progress.
I Seen them today filling up there jerrycan at the Mohawk gas station in Drayton Valley this morning at
7:00 am.
Good times just North of Evansburg Alberta… Last night Mike and Shelia were our very welcome guests for the night, thanks to the pouring rain and a bit of fixing to do in our machine shop…. We sat down to dinner (white tail chops, moose & onion sausage, free range chicken, of course a few spuds and much whiskey to preceed and follow)Actually Canadian Rye Whiskey…Everybody is doing very well and good. After the minor repair, they’ll be heading towards Mayerthorpe Alberta to see the RCMP Monument. Len, Celine, Mich, Tiny & Steven
