6-27-10 Who knows where?
Just got off the phone with Sheila. Mike and Sheila have met some very wonderful folks. Last night, they camped next to a Holliday Inn Express. This morning they went over and got a shower. While they were gone, somebody broke into the wagon. They stole all the whiskey, and cigarettes. They also took the hobbles off of the horses. Why on earth would they do that to the horses? I can understand the Whiskey and Cigarettes, but the horses? I just don’t understand. Luckily, Jane and Suzie are good critters and didn’t take off.

Sounds like you need a watchman. You need to train your dogs for that job. Thats to bad for the horses. Do you have extra whatever you are missing. Sounds like some kids to me. I hope you had a good birthday and a good fathers day. We went to Chris’s and then to graduation A J- Tori. Just to keep you updated. I am so glad for the most part you are injoying this trip so much. Lots of good people out in the world. You just need to know where to find them.
Take care-Love sis
I looked you up online because me and the kids seen your wagon between Mayerthorpe and Whitecourt yesterday.I live in Whitecourt and I am so sorry to hear the local scumbags Stole supplies out of your wagon. Sad to say this is a common thing to hear in this town and the RCMP dont seem to do much. Anyhow enjoy the rest of your journey. Its a cool thing you are doing.
Hello There!
I live up in the area where Mike and Sheila are currently travelling and would just like to forward on our support. I think it is an amazing idea!
I am very sorry to hear about what happened with the theft of supplies and the fact that someone had the gull to tamper with the horses and their equipment, its just outrageous!
Anyhow, I hope that other than that event the team is enjoying their travels through Northern Alberta!
Hey Cowboy did you bring Smith & Wesson with you? Sounds like you need to. Just checking in to see how every things going. The web sight was down for a couple of days so I see that you guys are doing OK. I hope you are having the time of your life. Not everybody gets the chance to do what you guys are doing. Good luck and may God be with you.
Hey, both of you, sorry to hear that you lost all of your whiskey & cigarettes. Those are expensive to replace. You have met so many good people on your trip—it’s too bad someone had to help themselves.
You should be proud that you raised such good animals! Have fun! We will check up on you when I either get some wi-fi or get home.
We are going to SD to camp, etc with the whole family! It is going to be so much fun. Even the Texas kids will be there.
Love to you both, Be Safe, Cyndy
spotted your yellow covered wagon heading north on hwy 43 just past Fox Creek Alberta. Good luck on your trip.
