6-7-10 Update
I just got a call from Sheila (finally after 10 days of no coms, she borrowed a phone).
They are currently in Strathmore at the fair grounds. They don’t know if they’re going to leave as the weather has been real nasty. So they are watching the weather to see if it’s going to break.
I was informed by the RCMP that they are not allowed to take the team and wagon into Calgary. I informed them just now so they told me they are going to head straight North of Strathmore up to 564 and then go West to 20 and then go North again.
No idea where they will camp tonight, depends on if the weather lets them out of Strathmore. But they should be in Strathmore at least a couple more houirs.
Also got an update on how Mike is doing. The wagon run over his legs and they are pretty bruised up. But he’s up and about, just a little slow getting started.
Wagon busted a couple bows, the door and the horses broke the evener. The guy that took Sheila into town was kind enough to give them a ride to a guy he new that used teams. That guy gave Mike and Sheila a new evener and wouldn’t take payment. Thanks!

I am not sure where to leave a comment for you to read….perhaps someone could help me or pass this along in the proper place. This is meant for Mike and Sheila. Mike-I hope you are OK. I know how you are. Everything is not always the way you say. Hopefully you are feeling good and nothing is broken-maybe some rest in a hot-tub! Sounds good-hey! Be careful and keep in touch. You both look good-we get lots of pictures from kind people along the way. Hopefully everything is fixed that was damaged or broken. I have no idea what those are. It doesn’t matter. Take care.

Grandma and Grandpa, Daniel stopped by today and told us you got ran over by the wagon AGAIN! Hope you are okay and will be on the road soon. We miss you. Give us a call when it doesn’t cost 5 dollars a minute and we will give you an update. The horses are fine. I hope you don’t mind but we have fattened them up for you. I am pretty sure they won’t want to go back to their old home. Besides that Jason says we need good riding horses or some free harnesses so we can have some good wagon horses. Call if you can’t stand him anymore Sheila and I will come and pick you up. Don’t kill him we still want someone to break a horse for us when he returns. Love You-The kids
